ATLANTA, GA (July 24, 2012) – AshleyMadison.com’s slogan, “Life is short. Have an affair” has obviously resonated with a whopping 111,325 of the online dating site’s Metro Atlanta members. Recently AshelyMadison.com, the world’s online dating service for married, or otherwise attached people seeking affairs, ranked the private school neighborhood of Smyrna/Vinings as the ‘top cheating neighborhood of Atlanta.’
Across Metro Atlanta’s “Top 10 Cheating Neighborhoods,” members claim similar reasons for looking outside of their marriage for sexual gratification. “The majority of our members decide to cheat because they feel ignored, insignificant and ultimately in a sexless marriage – although they want to remain married,” says AshleyMadison.com CEO, Noel Biderman.
Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, Alpharetta/Johns Creek, Downtown and Duluth rounded out the top five communities of married people looking for flings.
The survey found that Dunwoody/Sandy Springs had the highest percentage of female adulterers at 37.6% percent, with its residents also reporting having the most encounters. Downtown had the most reported SINGLE women seeking married men, another option available on the site.
Members in family-friendly Marietta/E.Cobb report having the most children on average, which has been surveyed as one of the leading reasons that male members cheat on their wives.

Another peek into AshleyMadison.com’s database revealed that it’s the leader of interracial communication. Atlanta has the highest percentage of members communicating with those of other races. To be exact, 38.3% of members in the United States message members outside of their own race, but in Atlanta 71.9% of our members do. Ranking second and third were Philadelphia and Houston.
